The third round of the Super One National Championship was held on a wet and dry weekend, not the ideal conditions for either driver or team manager, but Jordan Chamberlain overcame bad luck in the early stages of the meeting to take two wins at Rowrah in Cumbria to further strengthen his KF2 championship challenge.

Jordan hailed his double win in the Super One national karting championship at Shenington, Oxfordshire, as the best of his career, after a weekend where his only opposition came from within his own team. After the second race meeting out of seven in 2009, Jordan is now in the lead of the championship by four points.

Broken reeds set me back to 7th place in qualifying which meant I had to start 5th in my heats. I got into the lead of the first heat and was knocked wide so finished 2nd, and was leading Heat 2 then the engine blew up...

I started last for the final (grid 8), not many turned up unfortunately. I took the lead on lap 5 and comfortably drove away, breaking the lap record twice in that final, so it was a good test ready for Super One next weekend. It's also my first win in KF2 (well over due!)
